Most of these people we know from famous films. And they really are little people - the growth of some of them less than 70 inches.
Dwarfism is a medical disorder with the sole requirement being an adult height under
147 cm (4 ft 10 in) and it is almost always classified as to the underlying condition that is the cause for the short stature.
1.Verne Troyer
Verne Troyer - (born January 1, 1969), also known as Mini-V, is an American stand-up comedian, actor, stuntman, performer, and comedian, best known for playing Mini-Me in the Austin Powers series. Troyer is also known for his height of 2 ft 8 in (0.81 m), the result of cartilage–hair hypoplasia dwarfism, making him one of the shortest men in the world.
2. Khagendra Thapa Magar
Khagendra Thapa Magar was in Nepal on October 14, 1992, He is dubbed as a "little Buddha" by the villagers.
In May 2008, Khagendra appeared in the British Channel 4 documentary called "The World's Smallest Man and Me" hosted by Mark Dolan.
3. Jason Acuña
Jason Acuña (born May 16, 1973), better known as "Wee-Man", is an American TV host and actor. He is one of the stars of Jackass on MTV and the host of NESN's skateboarding show 54321. Acuña has achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism, and is 4 ft 0.5 in (1.23 m) tall. He is also a professional skateboarder.
4. Tony Cox
Joseph Anthony "Tony" Cox (born March 31, 1958) is an American actor, known for his comedic performances in Bad Santa, Me, Myself and Irene, Date Movie and Disaster Movie. He is also known for his work in George Lucas's Willow and as an Ewok in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. In the two spin-off films, that followed, he played Widdle Warrick. Cox also appeared in the music video "Just Lose It" by Eminem.
5. He PingPing
He PingPing (July 13, 1988 – March 13, 2010]) was, according to the Guinness World Records, the world's shortest man who was able to walk. This photo shows He Pingping holding the hand of Bao Xi Shun - the tallest man in the world. He measured only 74 cm (2 ft 5 in).
6. Clarence Chesterfield Howerton nicknamed "Little Mayor
Clarence Chesterfield Howerton ( born Feb. 9, 1913, died on November 18, 1975). Howerton performed for many years with Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus, along with several other circuses. Major Mite, along with many other little people, enjoyed an appearecnce as a Munchkin in the Wizard Of Oz. He plays the last of three trumpeteers who herald the arrival of the Mayor of Munchkinland. He also appeared in several of the Our Gang comedy shorts.
7. Warwick Davis
Warwick Ashley Davis (born 3 February 1970) is an English actor. He is 3 ft 6 in (1.07 m) tall and is known for playing the title characters in Willow and the Leprechaun series of films; other prominent roles include Wicket W. Warrick in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, Professor Filius Flitwick and Griphook in the Harry Potter movies, Marvin the Paranoid Android in The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
8. Vance Swift
James Vance Swift (born in Floyd, Indiana, in 1916)Known as "America's Smallest Man", Vance stood 31"(78cm) tall as an adult and was recruited by Ike Rose to perform with Rose's Royal Midgets and Rose's Parisian Midget Follies, where he worked as a burlesque comedian. He was a resident of several Midget Cities at the grand World's Fairs of the 1930s, including the California Pacific Exposition in 1935 and the Queens County Fair in New York in 1939, where he played the role of deputy sheriff.
9. David Rappaport
David Rappaport (November 23, 1951 - May 2, 1990) was one of the most famous actor-dwarfs. He was reported standing 3' 11" (1.19 m), although he himself told newspapers different heights.
10. Pauline Musters
Pauline Musters (February 26, 1876 - March 1, 1895) is, at 23 inches (58 cm) tall, recognised by the Guinness Book of Records as the shortest woman ever recorded. Born in Ossendrecht, The Netherlands on February 26, 1876, she died in New York City at the age of 19 from a combination of pneumonia and meningitis.
11. Danny Woodburn
Danny Woodburn (born July 26, 1964) is an American film, television and stage actor best known for having played Mickey Abbott on the sitcom Seinfeld. He's 4' (1.22 m) tall.
12. Edward Niño Hernández
Edward Niño Hernández was officially named as the world's shortest living man on September 4, 2010, by the Guinness World Records. At 24 years of age Hernandez was 0.7 m (2 ft 3 1⁄2 in) tall and weighed 10 kg (22 lb). Hernandez lives in Bogotá, Colombia.
