Swimming with polar bears

No, it's not Photoshop! This is a real pool in Canada. With the safety of 25cm Plexiglass, the “people pool” has been specially designed to mimic the bear's natural habitat.
And although children are not in danger, the reaction of visitors seeing it for the first time is quite a shock.

Visitors are seperated by 25cm thick Plexiglass at Canada's Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat.

The wading pool is heated and is used from May to October.
